LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mr. Robert Wayne Borchert, 71, entered into eternal rest on Monday, April 9, 2018 at his residence on Chamberlain Ferry Rd.

The graveside service with military honors will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 13, 2018 at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Owen officiating.

Mr. Borchert was the son of the late Fred Borchert and the late Merle Borchert of River Falls, Wisconsin. He served his country with honor in the United State Army and was owner of Lincolnton Welding and Tractor.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Ann Borchert; three children, Julie Banks, Billie Jean Borchert and Robert Wayne Borchert II all of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, David Robert Stanley, Ashley Nicole Braxton, Colby Allen Banks and Joshua Aaron Banks; one sister, June Anderson of Ellsworth, Wisconsin.
