Obituary

LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mr. Robert Len Quarles, 62, of Jones Chapel Rd. entered into rest on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at his residence. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at First Assembly of God with Rev. Lanis Lewis and Rev. Terry Bonds officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul United Methodist Church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Kelly Wells, Todd Wells, Gene Wells, Richard Smith, James Quarles, Justin Quarles, Christopher Collins, Jr., Dakota Turner and Lee Hill. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Quarles, Terry Quarles and George Dill. Mr. Quarles was the son of the late John Lindsey Quarles and the late Betty Jo Adams. He was a former construction foreman and heavy equipment operator and was presently employed with Wilhoit Gas Company. Mr. Quarles had served his country with honor in the National Guard and he attended First Assembly of God. Survivors include his soul mate, Marie Jackson; two daughters, Angelia Collins and husband, Chris of Lincolnton, Stephanie Hadden and husband, Randy of Avera, GA.; step-daughter, Mallory Banks of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, Christopher Collins, Jr., Brandon Collins, Macie Lyn Hadden, Kathryn Hadden and Jackson Banks; three sisters, Linda Smith and Pam Turner, both of Lincolnton and Lucy Polk of Lexington, S.C.
