LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mr. Herbert Russell "Rusty" Tordoff, 53, entered into eternal rest with his family by his side on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at his residence on Amity-Woodlawn Road.

The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2017 at Kiokee Baptist Church in Appling, GA. with Rev. Steve Hartman officiating. Interment will be in Shucraft Cemetery in Appling.

Serving as pallbearers will be Larry Sax, Robert Whigham, Brian Williams, Brandon Rutherford, Caleb Lee, Steven Bell, Mark Graff and Cash Powers.

Mr. Tordoff was a graduate of Evans High School class of 1982 and a former Richmond County Sheriff's Deputy. Rusty was a master cabinet maker and a member of Kiokee Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Michelle Williams Tordoff; eight children, Cindy Rutherford, John Russell Tordoff (Lindsey), Nicholas Tordoff, Timothy Tordoff (Olivia) all of Augusta, GA., Praise Tordoff, Michael Tordoff, Emily Tordoff and Christopher Tordoff all of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Rylie and Jackson Rutherford of Augusta; mother, Betty LaPiere of Franklin, N.C.; father, Gerald Tordoff ( Peggy) of Raleigh, N.C.; three sisters, Kathy Kelley (Chuck) of Franklin, N.C.., Sharon Roberts of Jacksonville, N.C. and Kelly Curtis(Chris) of Cary, N.C. and Sabrina Fox (Adrian) of Raleigh, N.C.; brother, Geno Rodriguez( Neisa) of Ft. Myers, FL.; sister-in-law, Sandi Colston ( Wendell) of Appling, GA.; brother-in-law, Brian Williams (Becky) of Canton, GA.; and numerous other family members.
