Mrs. Ruth Rider Ingram, 89, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Wellstar Medical College of Georgia.

Mrs. Ingram was native of Wilkes County, Georgia and the daughter of the late Roland Fletcher Rider and the late Ruthie Belle Weaver Rider.  She was a retired textile employee with Mount Vernon Mills in McCormick. Mrs. Ingram was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church. She enjoyed working outdoors and tending and nurturing her flower beds.

Survivors include a daughter, Kathy I. Smalley of Lincolnton; a son, Mike Ingram of Mt. Juliet, TN; three grandchildren, Jason Ingram, Chris Ingram and Pamela Smalley; eleven great grandchildren, Henry Ingram, Lillian Dye, Memphis Ingram, Presley Ingram, Phoenix Ingram, Hendrix Ingram, Kassie Powers, Ariel Landrum, Melanie Burnette, Dylan Smalley and Amber Smalley; three great great grandchildren, Adelyn Burnette, Michaelis Landrum and Sebastian Landrum. Mrs. Ingram was preceded in death by her husband, Racy Hawkins Ingram, son, Roger Ingram and grandson, Ken Smalley.

The funeral service will be held from the graveside at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the Hephzibah Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Elliott Smith officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Hephzibah Baptist Church.
