LINCOLNTON, GA - Mrs. Sandra Kay Cole, 75, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Doctor's Hospital in Augusta, GA.

The celebration of life service will be conducted from the graveside at 3 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Double Branches Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Ficklen Guin officiating.

Mrs. Cole was born December 10, 1946 and the daughter of the late Claude Martin Beggs and the late Kathleen McGill Beggs of Lincolnton. She was retired as a Medical Technologist in the Hematology Department at Athens Regional Medical Center and was a member of Double Branches Baptist Church. Sandra's greatest joy in life was her son, Trevor, daughter-in-law, Tanya and two grandchildren, Tyler and Tessa.

Survivors include one son, Trevor Cole and wife Tanya of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Tyler Cole and wife, Emily and Tessa Wallace and husband, Lane; one great grandson, Colton Lane Wallace; two brothers, Charles Beggs and wife, Deborah of Lincolnton and Kirby Beggs and wife, Lori of Crawfordville, GA; one special aunt, Inez McWhorter; and numerous other family members. Mrs. Cole was also preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Orell Cole; niece, Krissy Beggs Veal; great nephew, Charles M. Beggs III; and brother, Cecil Beggs, Sr.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Double Branches Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, in care of Mrs. Teresa Tankersley, 1011 Camp Daniel Marshall Rd., Lincolnton, GA 30817.
