LINCOLNTON, GA - Mrs. Sarah Scott Arthur, entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 4, 2019.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Rees Funeral Home with Benton Belangia officiating. Interment will follow in the Lincolnton City Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Dylan Arthur, Scott Arthur, William Harper, Russ Spratlin, Rusty Spratin and Colt Turner.

Mrs. Arthur was the daughter of the late James Ellis Scott and the late Lois Moon Scott. She worked from the home as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Survivors include two sons, Eddie Arthur and wife, Patty and Jimmy Arthur and wife, Hilda both of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Dylan Arthur and wife, Whitney of Evans, GA, Tonya Harper and husband, John of Lincolnton and Samantha Turner and husband, Colt of Avera, GA; seven great grandchildren, Maddox Arthur of Evans, GA, Scott Arthur and wife, Holly, William Harper, Leigh Anna Poss and Niki Poss all of Lincolnton, and Rhett Turner and Sawyer Turner of Avera, GA; two great great grandchildren, Alionna Arthur and Alexandria Poss. Mrs. Arthur along with her parents was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, William Edward Arthur, Jr.
