Obituary




Appling, GA. - Mr. Sidney F. Tingle, 66, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Lake Crossing Health Care in Appling, GA.

The Celebration of Life service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018 at St. Paul United Methodist Church with Rev. Lisa Powell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

Sidney was born on April 4,1951 in Bibb County, GA. to the late Raymond Lenwood Tingle and the late Clara Strother Tingle. His passion was listening to music by Elvis Presley and following Lincoln County Red Devils and University of Georgia Bulldogs football.

Survivors include two sisters, Genie Neely and husband, Nuane of Roswell, GA. and Carol Schroeder and husband, Harold of Lincolnton; nieces and nephews, Niclaire Neely and husband, Ja Rivers, Kyle Neely, Brad Schroeder and wife, Courtney and Ashley Schroeder; and one great niece Annabelle Schroeder.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, in care of Ms. Mary Rose Stein, 3235 Thomson Hwy, Lincolnton, GA. 30817.
