Mr. Sidney Lanier Williams, 71, entered into eternal rest at his residence on Mulberry Lane in Savannah Lakes Village, McCormick, SC.

Mr. Williams or "Sid" as everyone knew him, was the son of the late Jesse Lanier Williams and the late Dorothy Albea Lindsey. He and was born in Greenwood, SC on November 3, 1953. Sid was employed as a home builder and had lived in Belevedere, SC before his employment had him relocating to Lakeland, FL. After retirement he moved back to Lincoln County and to Savannah Lakes Village in McCormick, SC.

Survivors include a brother, Travis Williams; step-father, Rudy Lindsey and wife, Martha and numerous other family members. Sid was also preceded in death along with his parents by a brother, Curtis Williams.

The funeral will be held from the graveside at Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2025 with Rev. Ray Farrow officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Rees Funeral Home.
