LINCOLNTON, GA - Mr. Steve Allan Chaney, 64, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at his residence on Crook Road.

The celebration of life service will be at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Rees Funeral Home with Elder George Foster and wife, Queen officiating.

Steve was born February 5, 1958 in Ocilla , GA and the son of the late Lige Junior Chaney and Helen Pate Chaney Ansley. He had served his country with honor for four years in the Georgia National Guard and was a carpenter by trade.

Survivors include one daughter, Jessica Tennpenny and husband, Hunter of Martinez, GA.; one sister, Pamela Brown of Lincolnton; one brother, Jeff Chaney and wife, Rebecca of Thomson, GA. Mr. Chaney along with his parents was preceded in death by a brother, Stanley Chaney and by his long time companion, Jean Shelton.
