LINCOLNTON, GA - Mrs. Thelma L. Cox, 83, entered into rest on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at the home of her cousin, Tina Lewis in Thomson, GA.

The graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Jones Chapel church cemetery with Rev. Tom Smalley officiating.

Mrs. Cox was the daughter of the late Clyde Lawton and the late Sara Jane Lawton. She was a member of Jones Chapel and a retired textile worker. Thelma was the queen of doll collectables, collecting many dolls while traveling with her late husband.

Survivors include a cousin, Tina Lewis and husband, Shawn of Thomson, GA and special friends to the family, Marcy Remsen and Murray Remsen of Lincolnton. Mrs. Cox was also preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Truman H. Cox.
