IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Thomas Watson
Reese, Iii
February 15, 1957 – May 13, 2019
YUKON, OK - Mr. Thomas Watson Reese, III, 62, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 13, 2019.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 11 a.m. Monday, July 22, 2019 at Double Branches Church cemetery with Rev. Ficklen Guin officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 until 10:30 a.m. prior to the service at Rees Funeral Home.
Mr. Reese affectionately known as Tommy, by family and friends, was born in Columbia, SC. He was the son of the late Thomas Watson Reese, Jr. and the late Sarah Ellen Tyner Reese. Tommy's body was donated to the United Tissue Network. Whole body donation allows continued education in science, research and medical training of surgeons using the latest devices developed. The loss of one's life is a gift to many others and giving the gift of life is a heroic act. Our family recognizes the importance of research in the area of Alzheimers's and dementia. Friends and family have made significant donations to the Alzheimer's Association in Tommy's memory. We are thankful for this kind gesture. It is our hope a cure will be found in the near future.
Survivors include a daughter, Sarah Donaldson Reese; two sisters, Alberta Kate "Kitty" Allen of Yukon, OK, and Sandra "Sandy" Reese Bartley of Leesville, SC; an aunt, Cornelia Tyner Davis and uncle, Leonard Tyner of Lincolnton, GA; nieces, Amy Allen Feith, of TN and Wendy Allen French of Yukon, OK; nephews Brian Allen of Yukon, Ok and Joshua Meetze of Columbia, SC; and many beloved cousins. Along with his parents, Tommy was preceded in death by a sister, Miss Patricia Ann Reese and a brother, Benjamin Collis Reese.
Rees Funeral Home, 195 North Peachtree St., Lincolnton, GA 706-359-3222 is in care of the arrangements for the Reese family.
