Mr. Troy Brown, 90, of Wilkes County, GA entered into eternal rest at his residence on Pecan Grove Rd.

Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Brown, Steve Brown, Mark Looney, Burt Goolsby, Wade Dunaway and Dan Durham. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be John Webster, Terry Callaway, Francis Rizner, Sammy McCorkle, Randy Danner and Lawrence Mayo.
Mr. Brown was born August 20, 1929 in Toombs County, GA and the son of the late Justice David Brown and Nettie Lois Colvard Brown. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served his country with honor during the Korean War. Mr. Brown was owner of Brown Electric and Manufacturing before retirement and was a member of Victory Baptist Church.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Bonnie Lee Dunaway whom he married on May 23, 1948; three children the late Debbie B. Lindsey and her husband, Kenneth of Washington, GA, Ray Brown and wife, Gail of Blairsville, GA and Tim Brown and wife, Dori of Washington, GA; grandchildren, Mary Ellen Lindsey and Karin Lindsey both of Washington, GA, Kristi Lindsey of Nashville, TN, Andrea Stringer of Ludowici, GA, Ashley Troy Brown and wife, Michelle of Washington, GA, Adam Justice Brown of Brooklyn, NY, Scott Brown and wife, Frankie of Lincolnton, GA and Brittney Dyson and husband, Chris of Thomson, GA; nine great-grandchidren; brother, Foy Brown of Spring Valley, CA; and sister, Geraldine Brown Banks of Lincolnton, GA. Mr. Brown was also preceded in death by nine of his siblings.
