LINCOLNTON, GA. - Ms. Trudy Knoop Corriveau, 74 of Metasville Rd. entered into rest on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at University Hospital in Augusta, GA. The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Rees Funeral Home with Rev. Benton Belangia officiating. Ms. Corriveau was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands and the daughter of Henk and Annie Knoop. She was a professional seamtress and also was employed at Wills Memorial Hospital with the hospital admittance division. As a child, Trudy and her brother were P.O.W.'s in a Japanese prison camp in Indonesia during World War II. Survivors include two sons, Dean Duckett of Jeffersonville, IN. and Brian Duckett of Black Mountain, N.C.; one granddaughter, Autumn Duckett; one sister, Diny van Dee of the Netherlands; one brother, Henk Knoop.
