Obituary
LINCOLNTON, GA. - Mr. Truman Henderson Cox 79, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 20, 2018 at Wills Memorial Hospital.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018 at Jones Chapel with Rev. Tom Smalley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Woodrow Brown, Shawn Lewis, Tony Norman, Marcy Remsen, Murray Remsen, Torri Norman, Jerry Peel and Robert Flanigan.
Mr. Cox was the son of the late Wardlaw Henderson Cox and the late Eva Mae Goldman Cox. He was retired from the textile industry and was a master gardener. Mr. Cox attended Jones Chapel as a house of worship.
Survivors include his wife of over 50 years, Thelma Lawton Cox; one sister, Jean James of Augusta; and serveral nieces and nephews. Mr. Cox along with his parents was preceded in death by a sister, Lena Mae Heath and brother, Lindsey Henderson.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at Rees Funeral Home, 195 N Peachtree St., Lincolnton, GA 706-359-3222 and may sign the family's online guestbook at: www.reesfuneralhome.net.
