Obituary

LINCOLNTON, GA - Mr. William Harmon Leopard, III entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at his residence on North Peachtree St.
The Celebration of Life Service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Lincolnton United Methodist Church with Rev. Randy Kanipe and Rev. Ron Fearneyhough officiating. And military honors will follow at the conclusion of the service.
Mr. Leopard was the son of the late William Harmon Leopard, Jr. and the late Eva Mary Rickerson Leopard of Augusta, GA. He was a 1959 graduate of Academy of Richmond County in Augusta and retired as a construction inspector with Armentrout, Roebuck & Matheny Engineers of Athens, GA. Mr. Leopard or Bill as everyone knew him was a member of Lincolnton United Methodist Church where he past member of the Board of Trustees, was a Choir Member, Chairman of the Host/Hostess, served on the Outreach Committee and a member of the Methodist Men's Club. Bill was a participant in the Walk to Emmaus, former member of Clark Hill BASS Masters, member of the Lincoln County BASS Masters, Lincoln County Historical Society and American Legion Post 194. He was a veteran of The United States Army and served his country with honor from 1959 -1965 while attaining the rank of Sergeant.
Survivors include his loving wife and best friend since 1981, Brenda Timmerman Leopard; children, William Christopher Leopard and wife, Bkay of Augusta, GA; grandchildren, Beverly Herrington and Jeff Herrington of Augusta, Lisa Leopard Ferarneyhough and husband, Lance of Martinez, GA; Justin, Ryan and Courtney Fearneyhough of Augusta; Jeremy Fearneyhough and wife, Kala; great granddaughter, Clara Fearneyhough of Grovetown, GA; step daughter, Paula Graves Henderson and husband, Brian of Lincolnton and granddaughter, Lili Henderson of Lincolnton; several nieces and nephews.
