Meet Our Caring Staff
Staff members of Rees Funeral Home are caring and experienced professionals who understand that each family is unique and has personal requests and traditions. These requests and traditions are of utmost importance to our staff of licensed funeral directors.
Jack G. Smalley was a 1995 graduate of Gupton Jones College of Mortuary Science. I have been a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Georgia and South Carolina for over twenty years. In 1996 I purchased Rees Funeral Home from the late Leslie Rees Burton and have continued the same service with compassion that she exemplified.
My wife, Joy and I have been married for 39 years and have two sons, Chris Smalley and Andrew Smalley; four grandchildren, Katie, Emily, Caroline and Sam; two daughters-in-law, Kimberly and Mallory. Joy and I are members of Lincolnton Baptist Church.
