Administrative Staff

Kay Fortson Remsen is a 1968 business graduate of The University of West Georgia, served as the City Clerk for the City of Lincolnton for 32 years. She has been employed at Rees Funeral Home since 2016 and to give back to people in their time of need has been such a blessing to her.   

Family and church have always been important pieces of Kay's life. She is an active member of the United Methodist Women at Pine Grove UMC and enjoys playing the piano for New Hope Baptist Church. Kay is so thankful to have her son and daughter-in-law George and Rebekah Remsen and four grandchildren Katie and Thomas Remsen, Jamie and Kyle Morgan nearby to cook for and visit often. When possible, she also enjoys making the trip to Atlanta to visit her daughter Anna Beth Remsen.
